Schifino Lee partners with Cope Notes to provide free mental health support during Mental Health Awareness Month

The daily text service is offering two weeks of free support.

Tampa, Fla., May 18– Schifino Lee, Tampa-based advertising and branding agency, has partnered with Cope Notes, a daily mental health support text message service, to provide two-weeks of service free for Mental Health Awareness Month.

Schifino Lee wanted a way to give back to both its employees, clients and community in an area that can be neglected far too often but is even more important at a time like this—mental health.

Cope Notes works to train your brain to default to healthier thought patterns by texting once a day at a different time with a different message, including psychology facts, exercises, advice and more. It was founded by Johnny Crowder, a suicide/abuse survivor and former Schifino Lee creative.

Mental Health Awareness Month, founded in 1949 by Mental Health America (then known as the National Association for Mental Health), was created to raise awareness on mental health issues in the U.S. Over 46% of Americans will face mental illness in their lifetime.

“We understand mental health is an incredibly important part of our personal and team’s wellbeing, so we thought it would be a great way to acknowledge Mental Health Awareness Month, especially during these trying times,” said Paola Schifino, co-founder and principal of Schifino Lee. “I signed up and receive the randomly timed, daily texts myself and it has truly lifted my spirits during these emotional and stressful times.”

As part of this collaboration, Schifino Lee will also be extending this free trial to its clients and social communities in support of our ‘Be seen. Be heard.’ campaign designed to help position businesses for success in this new post-Covid time.
