Supermarket grocery chain Kroger is deeming one hour every morning as senior shopping time.
The move is in response to the impact of COVID-19, the pandemic that is mandating home sequestering and social distancing across the country. As seniors are more susceptible to the virus many grocers are taking the same step for both the health of customers as well as store staff, according to a WSBTV report.
The senior shopping hours for Kroger stores in Georgia, as well as eastern Alabama and South Carolina, are 7 a.m. to 8 a.m. Monday through Thursday.
