Retailer H&M is donating $500,000 to the COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund, an effort launched in early March by the UN Foundation, Swiss Philanthropy Foundation and World Health Organization.
The retailer is also donating personal protective gear, according to a New York Post report. The brand is also offering up its well followed social media channels to help groups, such as the Red Cross, expand reach of public health alerts during the coronavirus pandemic.
