Bridgestone retail had a robust 2019

Bridgestone Retail Operation, the biggest network of company-owned tire and auto services centers, enjoyed recording setting achievements in both sales and new store expansion in 2019.

The company, a subsidiary of Bridgestone Americas, opened 36 U.S. locations and hired on 334 new employees. It runs about 2,236 locations across the U.S. under a long list of brand names including Firestone Complete Auto Care and Tires Plus.

The goal for 2020 is to launch 50 retail locations, according to a press release.

“We’re excited that BSRO was able to add 36 new stores to our retail footprint in 2019, which helped bring new jobs to these areas, as well as serve more customers in the local community,” said Marko Ibrahim, vice president of stores, in the release.

“We hope to continue the success we had in 2019 this year as we work toward our goal of being the most trusted provider of tire and automotive service in every neighborhood we serve.”
