Coronavirus: TK Maxx resumes online operations & Net-a-Porter prepares

TK Maxx has resumed its online operations with a daily order limit to protect its warehouse workers during the coronavirus crisis.

Once the limit is reached customers will only be able to browse but not buy items on the site for the rest of that day.

TK Maxx has also provided workers with equipment to stay safe while at work, implementing social distancing measures and enhanced cleaning of its facilities.

Meanwhile, Net-a-Porter is preparing to reopen its online operations Drapers reported.

The luxury retailer temporarily closed its only UK distribution centre in London back in March in a bid to protect its staff from the coronavirus outbreak.

The retailer has since resumed taking orders on its UK site but warned shoppers that no items would be shipped until it reopened its London warehouse.

Drapers reported that the retailer is currently testing new health and safety measures with a small number of volunteers at the UK distribution centre.
