Vendor Pairs Free Consulting with Solution for Grocers

As grocery retailers struggle to navigate consumer demand and supply chain challenges stemming from the spread of COVID-19, one provider is making its solutions more affordable.

For a limited time, Locai Solutions is making its PowerPick fulfillment management software free to grocers. PowerPick is designed to improve operating efficiency and reduce labor via multi-order pick capability, support for zone picking and a simplified order consolidation process.

The company will waive monthly fees for the first 90 days on an annual contract for a grocer’s in-store fulfillment solution.

It’s also offering 10 hours of free operational consulting with each implementation, to be conducted by former grocery industry members with e-commerce experience. Consultants will evaluate retailers’ potential to use alternative logistics and fulfillment formats and models.

Mike Demko, founder and CEO of Locai Solutions, called COVID a catalyst for change.

“We want to help the front-line fight, so we’re offering our technology to help grocers effectively meet increased demand,” said Demko. “It’s critical for retailers to advance their operation for the new era of digital grocery that is upon us.
