Hardware and home improvement retailers in Austria got the green light this week to reopen for business, about a month after the country ordered all non-essential stores to close due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
It’s one of the first small steps to restarting the country’s economy, according to a New York Times report.
As of early this week Austria has reported 14,041 coronavirus cases, with 368 deaths.
