My weekly compilation of best new creative ads is a small tribute to brand teams everywhere. I have curated a collection of clutter-breaking ads for years now. This week: ads from Uber Eats, Volvo, Delta and more.
Uber Eats: Jim Courier
If you are in advertising, there are some ideas which evoke the ‘wish I had thought of that’ feeling in you. Here’s one such: former professional tennis player, Jim Courier, is well…a courier for Uber Eats in a new ad from Australia. One might argue that ‘get almost anything’ idea expressed previously as ‘this not that’ (apes, no; grapes, yes‘) is relegated to the backseat giving prominence to the word play (if it can be called that) of Courier taking up the job of an Uber Eats courier. The effect nevertheless is hilarious.

Delta: Winter Olympics
The 2026 Winter Olympics, commonly known as Milano Cortina 2026 is scheduled for February thus year. Delta Airlines is the official sponsor of Tea, USA. Ad campaigns announcing such partnerships are mostly limited to ‘proud sponsors of…’ kind of message. In this campaign, I loved the attempt to equate the business of Delta with the winter Olympics: ‘a commitment to reaching great heights‘. The theme film is anchored on this central idea:
Altitude” celebrates the reason Team USA trains at high altitudes. Training at such great heights is proven to strengthen athletes’ hearts, lungs and overall resilience. The film mirrors the visual arc of a Delta flight to Milan — rising, soaring and descending — as a powerful metaphor for the heights both Delta and Team USA strive to reach.
There are couple of other films which equate features like notifications and check in with deeper meaning equated to sports and the event itself.
Another film equates what Team USA carries with them – another subtle link to the business of flying. The film is shot from left to right, using the motion of a baggage claim carousel, to show that what they carry is much bigger and more meaningful than luggage.

Audi Quattro: outdoor
The UK is experiencing extreme cold climate nowadays. Audi used such conditions to promote the brand’s all-wheel drive system. Digital OOH ads popped up in locations where the temperature fell to 5 degrees celcius.

Volvo EX60: a new beginning
‘All beginnings are imperfect’.
All major leaps forward demand a period of hurdles.
‘No innovation will happen unless a few true believers take the first hit of inconvenience’.
A new ad for the electric Volvo EX60 sums up the sentiments around electric cars ending with an ode to the early adopters of EVs:
Thank you for believing that electric cars would one day be what we simply call “cars”. Loved the writing and the emotions this ad evokes.

ASICS: cheering for you
The film starts with a cliche: a bunch of papers dumped on the work table of an employee. She steps out for a run and the world seems to cheer her on – or she thinks so. It all falls in place when it links back to the ‘Move your body. Move your mind’ tagline which began with a PSU-like ad starring Brian Cox.
Hero: prayers for safety
Tibetan prayer flags—commonly tied to motorcycle handlebars during Himalayan rides, have been converted into compact first-aid kits in a new ground initiative from Hero Motors.
The modified prayer flags have been distributed across key biking hubs, including bike rental points, cafés frequented by riders and specially designed dispensers. By integrating safety equipment into an existing riding ritual, the initiative aims to encourage preparedness without disrupting established practices.

IKEA: hidden price
Affordable pricing has been the strong point of IKEA product line. In a new campaign, the price is cleverly hidden suggesting that you’d be surprised that such quality is available at that price. Typically we expect to compromise on quality with unbelievably low prices and this momentary involvement in the ad through the clever creative device, flips the perception.
