One month after banning what its sellers could send to its warehouses Amazon has reversed course.

Due to shipping demand in light of the COVID-19 pandemic the world’s biggest e-commerce company had told its third-party sellers in March it would only take in necessary medical products and household items needed by consumers. The move was necessary to help Amazon get the most important items out to consumers and businesses.

It has also begun letting customers know that delivery times will be much longer than usual or expected given the high volume in shipping and delivery, according to a New York Post report.

While it lifted the ban on what can be shipped to warehouses it is limiting the number of items at this point.

“Products will be limited by quantity to enable us to continue prioritizing products and protecting employees, while also ensuring most selling partners can ship goods into our facilities,” Amazon told the Wall Street Journal, according to the Post report.
