Fashion retailer JD Williams has cancelled spring 20 orders with some of its suppliers as the coronavirus outbreak continues to affect the retail sector.
An N Brown spokeswoman told Drapers the retailers priority is ensuring it can serve customers while protecting the well-being of its employees amid the pandemic.
She went on to say that in response to challenges arising from the coronavirus outbreak JD Williams decided that in line with the retail sector in the UK, it would cancel orders for SS20 product with some of its suppliers.

The spokeswoman told Drapers that the retailer is working closely with its supply partners to navigate amid the uncertain times to ensure future.
JD Williams joins Primark, Urban Outfitters and Arcadia Group as the latest fashion retailer to cancel or delay orders due to Covid-19.
