Originally scheduled between the 10th and 13th of March, the AppDevCon, based in Amsterdam, has moved its 4-day gathering for app-developer professionals and lovers to September of the current year (from the 15th to the 18th).
The news had a lot of people fazed, as imaginable.

Is it Worth Attending a Mobile App Marketing Conference in 2020?

Technology surprises us every year more. With steady (almost uncontrollable) advancements, it is the niche that more than any other has changed our way of living, and heavily influenced the way we do even the smallest of actions, every day.

However, all of society’s most important developments and significant breakthroughs throughout the years have always stemmed from one single component: the association of different (and complementary) ideas and points of view. People coming together in the spirit of harmony, with a definite purpose in mind, can create far better results than any individual could on his/her own.

These events are not useful at all if you attend them with the intention of either reinforcing your personal brand, developing your PR skills, or mindlessly leaving your business cards around in the hope to get someone knocking at your door: they present valuable opportunities to share ideas, to accept someone else’s opinion and to integrate it in your own way of thinking, and, more generally, to encourage society’s advancement and well-being.

During this period, we recommend you follow the advice of organisations and institutions such as the World Health Organisation, the Centers for Disease Control and the Europeans Centers for Disease Control, regarding your potential travel plans.

Additionally to this, pay close attention to various strategic brands, partners and potential clients, as many are hosting webinars and online events, in-lieu of the events they have either cancelled, or not attended as planned.
