STORIS Spotlight: Mark Braun

Mark Braun recently joined the eCommerce Team.

Mark Braun began with STORIS in November of 2016 as an eCommerce Implementations Specialist. He formerly worked as a business manager in the action sports retail industry, where he implemented multiple phases of the business’ eCommerce initiatives. In his current position with STORIS, he is responsible for implementing eSTORIS with our clients to launch successful websites.

When Mark isn’t at work, he is an avid snowboarder and musician. He usually spends most of his time off traveling in the winter to new mountains and enjoying time outdoors with his dog Charlie. He also learned how to brew his own beer and enjoys spending time with his father traveling to brew shops to create their own blends.

Mark has dual citizenship since his family was all born in the UK. He spends a lot of his vacation time traveling overseas. He also volunteers with a charity called Musicians On Call where he visits children in treatment centers at various pediatric hospitals and is in the process of creating his own nonprofit organization.

Official Title: Ecommerce Implementations Specialist
What do you do in your position on a daily basis? : I manage the implementation project for eSTORIS clients. This includes supporting our clients to ensure a successful launch and ongoing presence with eCommerce.
What do you like most about working at STORIS? : I enjoy being able to work with different departments to achieve my daily goals. Since I am working collaboratively with multiple departments such as Support, Marketing, and Systems, I am able to learn skills that improve my ability in the eCommerce field as well as in others.
If you were not in this field, what would you be? : I would be working in Environmental studies, or Teaching.
Do you have any hobbies/hidden talents? : I play all sorts of instruments, I also snowboard in the wintertime.

What do you usually do when you aren’t working? : Brew Beer, Spend time with my dog Charlie
Favorite place you’ve traveled to and why? : Bath, England; One of the oldest cities in the UK, full of museums, old architecture, and fantastic pubs.
If you could have a superpower, what would it be & why? : The ability of Lightning Speed, so I can never buy a tank of gas ever again.
